DRIFT Art Project: 2002-2014
Founder/Curator, Eileen Olivieri
Co-Curator, Bradley Pecore
DRIFT is a nomadic inter-media exhibition that moves to a new location every year. The exhibition characterizes the impermanence and site-specificity of the artworks as well as the adaptive qualities of the participating artists. DRIFT highlights under represented talented artists while emphasizing the critical role of experimentation and process within conventional and unconventional exhibition spaces.
Since its inception on the ocean, DRIFT has exhibited 90 artists in 8 locations across the U.S including: River Run Farm, Bedminster, NJ; Valentino Pier Park, Brooklyn; Rush Arts, Manhattan, the abandoned Sacred Heart Mission Church, Ruidosa, TX; Bronx River Art Center, Bronx; and the Institute of American Indian Arts, El Museo Cultural, Cerro Gordo Temple & Little Wing Performance Space, Santa Fe, NM.
